Lol, it was from some book on manhood, I can’t remember the exact quote but to paraphrase “Women are the source of beauty in the world and to treat them as precious treasures.”
Caused a lot of eyerolling back in the day.
My mother was exceptionally beautiful in her youth, btw. A brown eyed cross between Elizabeth Taylor and Vivien Leigh. She was also highly intelligent, taught all of us to read while we were still in diapers and later taught 1000’s of children to read in the Montessori preschool she created in the garage. She taught until she was about 75.
