The problem is that a lot of them can’t sing for sh#t anymore.
Some never could though.

Even older singers like Andre Botticelli(blind Italian singer) can’t sing as well as they could 30 years ago, yet his concert tickets are still over $200 at Boston Garden next month.

The only one that I know of who more or less kept his voice is Paul Rodgers.

And nobody cares about McCartney’s voice, because you can’t even hear him since everybody in the audience is singing along.

True, but not so much for the rest of the band. I know of some guitarists that just seem to get better and better as they get older. Same for keyboards and horns, but not so much for drummers. Drums can really take a toll on you.
