Watching the evolution of the "global cooling" to "global warming" to "climate change" messaging has been a study in public manipulation of media. One recalls Al Gore's "no controlling legal authority" games and Obama's involvement in the early "carbon credits" schemes. That the EU leadership has led Europeans down this road shows how easily ideology can overtake reality.

More control and more taxation. Lenin, once tie-dyed and stoned, is now draped with green and "sciencey", and so many can't see the costuming.
