Yeah, silver is gonna get stupider than it is currently.

Nothing stupid about it, simply “ overlooked” ( or manipulated) for a decade or so. All eyes on Mexico, industry observers see Mexico’s huge silver mining industry to be possibly nationalized by their new liberal president.....and reportedly the U.S. is NOT in the club. Think rare earths.

The worldwide scramble for physical Silver is already making history.

From AI:

“There is currently a significant shortage of silver, with global demand exceeding supply since 2020. This ongoing deficit is expected to continue, leading to rising prices and potential market instability.

Current Silver Shortage Overview
Supply and Demand Imbalance
The global silver market is experiencing a significant shortage, with demand consistently outpacing supply since 2020. Current estimates indicate that silver production is falling about 800 million ounces short of global demand. This ongoing deficit is projected to continue into 2026, marking five consecutive years of shortfalls.
Key Factors Contributing to the Shortage
FACTOR DESCRIPTION
Industrial Demand Approximately 60% of silver is used in industrial applications, including electronics and solar panels.
Mining Challenges Most silver is mined as a byproduct of other metals, making supply less responsive to demand changes.
Investment Demand Increased interest from central banks and investors in physical silver is driving up demand.
Market Dynamics The market is experiencing backwardation, where spot prices exceed futures prices, indicating a physical supply crunch.
Implications of the Shortage
The shortage is leading to rising prices, with silver recently surpassing $52.50 per ounce. This price surge reflects both the tight supply conditions and broader economic factors, such as inflation and currency fluctuations. As demand continues to grow, particularly in renewable energy sectors, the pressure on silver supply is expected to intensify, potentially leading to further price increases.
The situation highlights the importance of monitoring both industrial and investment trends in the silver market, as they significantly influence future price movements and availability.....

As someone who stacks silver, many of us saw this coming a long time ago. Like you said, silver is being manipulated for some time now.
