Good luck and God’s Blessings with your daughter’s situation. One of my best friends went through it, probably still is now. My Buddy did not like how the meds made him feel, and would often just refuse to take them.
It effects the whole family, especially if the condition is Adult Onset, just when you thought all the worrying was about over.
My daughter, I noticed, had something wrong with her in her early teens. It’s very difficult to deal with. You don’t want to know all that she did and went through.
But as my examples show, madness and genius are first cousins, if not siblings. I think Churchill would not have been able to defy the Blitz, if he hadn’t first been at war with his “black dog,” as he called it. No meds. No shrinks. Just more than the usual measure of courage.
