When my mom was in a rehab facility, the staff were (maybe still are) involved in some organization to end Advantage, or reduce reform it. They said that it is cruel to the seniors they work with. I don’t know all the details.

OK, I see your point now...(RE “Advantage”)...Advantage is just reg. private HMO/PPO insurance paid for by the government (~$1200.-$1400/mo. P/P depending on the insurance co. rating/zip code, etc.). Sorta “single payer” I guess (actually “2 payer”...ins. co. and the Feds paying the premium). Reg. Medicare is single payer also...with you filling in the Medicare “gaps” with a private ins. policy (G/N, high deductible. G). A semantic mess! 🤷🏼‍♂️😬

Find Plans or check your current coverage: https://www.medicare.gov

I got my medicare / health coverage in 2023.
Here is what I got. I went thru Boomer Benefits earlier in July.
https://boomerbenefits.com and called an agent.

What I currently pay for single coverage:
Anthem Blue Cross - Part G = $206.23
Mutual of Omaha - dentist = $31.82
Wellcare Part D = $17.40
Medicare Part A & B = $185.00
Grand Total = $440.45 a month.

Part B deductible = $257.00
Drug deductible = $590.00

Here is a thread from July 2023.

I realized overnight I forgot to mention that I also have a part D plan (and they vary wildly by state).

Good luck!
