My doctor has been trying to get me to take Ozempic. In fact we even got into an argument about it.

They are pushing it so hard that I have to wonder just how much money (kickback) are doctors getting for proscribing it.
Must be a lot!

I went to the er and they gave me a diagnosis and told me to go to a specialist. It wasn’t a big deal till I got to a specialist who told me he didn’t agree with the er, but there was a new therapy and I was a good candidate. He wanted to implant a device in my back that would solve the problem. Oh, and Medicare may or may not pay for it. He sent me home with all the literature and said he would set it up. I talked to two other Drs who said, did he tell you the device can shift and cause even more problems. Of course not. Wonder how much of a kickback he was getting for each new guinea pig he signed up.

Dr #2. At my yearly physical my personal care physician directed me to a specialist to get injections for by osteoporosis. I filled out a form with all my ailments, including two strokes. She also had to get permission from Medicare. On the form she changed the strokes to TIA’s and added vitamin D deficiency, which was not true. I said but the medication causes bone pain and possibility of strokes. Oh , you can take Tylenol. I said well doesn’t that cause liver disease. She said oh I wouldn’t worry about it. So already she lied to me three times. Are there no honest Drs anymore?
