I swear the callousness on FR makes me sick sometimes.

This is too true. I'm as much of a hard ass on crime as the next person, more so than many but an accident is just an accident, unless there's evidence that the father did this deliberately. Well, he's paid the price now.

By the way, callousness, as a trait, undermines whatever points a poster may make on just about anything.
