1. Mail in ballots. Election Day lasts a month.
2. New Jersey does not require voters to present identification. Virginia requires voters to present non-photo identification.

Not really. Section § 24.2-643 of the VA election code provides: "Except as provided in subsection E, any voter who does not show one of the forms of identification specified in this subsection shall be allowed to vote after signing a statement, subject to felony penalties for false statements pursuant to § 24.2-1016, that he is the named registered voter he claims to be."
So they can show up with no identification whatsoever, sign a statement that they're who they say they are, and then get a ballot that will go through the voting machine. This was enacted the last time Dims controlled VA. Now that the Dims are firmly in control again, you can bet the election laws will be loosened up even more.
