What % of SNAP recipients are disabled?

AI: Among non elderly SNAP recipients, 10% were disabled. No data among the elderly, but it will be much higher.

Also — 79% of SNAP households have at least one member who is disabled.

Is disability fraud or incorrect or not properly declared?

That’s a different subject vs working hours for SNAP recipients. If you do not think the 10% and 79% numbers are accurate, do your own research that collects the raw data from USDA.

I’d need to know the specifics for the 79% disabled to decide on accuracy.

Is a child in the household who has been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, minor motor skill or learning delays or dyslexia considered “disabled”. Is having treatable diabetes or high BP included? Having a “doctor’s note” regarding your “bad back”?
