The media are covering up the fact that the rioters were carrying flags from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Venezuela, Colombia and other countries south of the border.
THAT’S who was rioting in the streets of LA.
Didn’t matter if “Los Doyers” won or lost, the rioting would have happened, any excuse will do.
Seems to me cultural expectations were once taught (formally and informally) that made our chunk of the planet a better place to live. It was part of the moral code learned as a kid and parents reinforced it. Another tier of these expectations were learned in churches and temples.
For members of this forum cultural expectations was likely checked off the parental to do list years ago when raising our kids. Probably not even a deliberate exercise as much as reflexive, ingrained expectations demonstrated and passed down.
Beyond our front doors and the homes of likeminded people… it’s common to see what appears to be an endless stream of chaotic, unlawful, morally bankrupt, losers that could serve as an endless supply of content for the Jerry Springer Show. Toss in the illegals and others legally migrating and we have a disaster. Import Somalia, get Somalia.
Today, alignment on cultural expectations would likely cause riots itself. It’s worth the fight. Worth being called a whatever-phobe, an eeeeevil republican, a vast right wing conservative, an isolationist, a nationalist, or even (gasp!) a Christian.
I’ll argue that the lack of a common code of morals and expectations is the root of our problems. It needs to be re-institutionalized if we want peace, lower crime, and to succeed and prosper as Americans.
So the ICE riots were just practice for a WS win.
all the cholo’s were out running riot like after a laker championship.. never fails
Erratic. That’s what they call it now.
