I was born with a severe club foot and use that as an example of abortion on demand. They were able to correct it through surgeries and casts when I was a baby. The only thing bad that I recall about it was having to wear leather dress shoes through Junior High while everyone else was wearing sneakers.
I ended up doing very well at the sport of my choice. My parents would often say how unbelievable it was given the state of my foot/leg when I was born.
Down Syndrome is now treatable through CRISP. I don’t know what that means, however, when it comes to capability of somebody who is cured of Down Syndrome.
However, they are people who can function. I saw a documentary of somebody with Down’s who bought a restaurant and runs it.
