DST makes more sense the farther north you go; maybe we should divide the country somewhere around 40 degrees north, DST to the north, StdT to the south. It won’t be confusing, I promise.

It's the opposite. DST makes more sense as you move south to the equator. In the summer, the north has longer days than the south and in the winter, DST means darkness until 9 or 10 am.

Has anyone thought that perhaps "get up" and "go to bed" events do not have to be done at specific times? Is it not possible to change work schedules whenever desired?
What is next? People syncing with the cell towers?
