The Quebecois are the largest French population that has never surrendered in a war. Just a little factoid for you. The Van Doos (Royal 22nd Regiment) are as storied and honorable as your 82nd or 101 Airborne.
That said, this woman is a disgrace to the uniform.
I’ve read accounts by (surviving) Germans of the invasion in Normandy on June 6, ‘44. These were men manning ‘static defenses: bunkers, pillboxes, etc. They were often second-rate, medical issues, intended to delay the allies until the panzers and grenadiers were brought up.
They described the Canadians—volunteers, right?—as these huge, fierce, scary soldiers brandishing Thompson and Sten machineguns.
This woman is hmmm ... say no more. Say no more.
