I agree. It's bonkers. What he's talking about is utopia, which doesn't exist and never has. It would mean the destruction of our way of life as we know it, where human kind won't be worth anything, and won't be needed anymore. We already have welfare where people get paid for doing nothing. It would be just another form of welfare. And who makes the decision who gets paid for doing nothing, and how much they'd be paid? What happens if it's decided that you aren't worth that universal income anymore? Euthanasia...a needle stick, and a quick trip to the waste factory so your body can be processed into fertilizer to keep those robots supplied for the vegetables they're planting to feed the masses.
