Isn’t CDC under the Executive Branch ?

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), was authorized to make the agreement with Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) during his February 2025 Senate confirmation hearings for HHS Secretary. This agreement included a pledge that the CDC would not remove the statement “Vaccines do not cause autism” from its website, which Cassidy cited as a key condition for casting the tie-breaking vote to advance Kennedy’s nomination.

And if RFK Jr rescinds his agreement, then what ?

Yes.

It’s been rescinded. The CDC has removed the wording.

I don’t imagine that any such agreement is binding. Especially if it becomes very clear that vaccines DO cause, or at least correlate strongly with Autism.

If the evidence becomes public, I’d yank it off the website so fast that It would have already been gone yesterday.
