What the store should do is set up 2 return lines along with a line monitor. All sales under $10 in the left line, all items $10 or more on the right. Let them clog up a single line with ONE clerk, specially trained in being slow. No use holding up people that have a legitimate return.
It is my understanding that any private business owner can request from law enforcement that any person be permanently “trespassed” from the business at any time and does not have to give “cause”.
This is what they should do.
