About midway through Obama's first term something occured to cause a remarkable upturn in the percentage of Democrats who pursued higher education. Almost like it was intentional.
Oh, and amazingly 2010 is also when the federal government took over all student lending via the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act. Not some, all of it.
This is important because by removing private lenders from the student loan market, the government was able to consolidate control of and introduced a number of woke considerations that ensured a wave of new students would flood our campuses. Students who leaned decidedly left, mind you.
In related news, and as per my previous point, we now understand that all levels of education had been long infiltrated and slowly transformed by what essentionally amounts to the communist education industrial complex - and part of a much larger operation our enemies (both foreign and domestic) were waging.
Unsurprisingly, this is why we've seen a similarly severe rise in the conveyor belt of blue-haired Che Guevera loving woketardian malcontents churned out by our high school and colleges/universities as the rule, and not the exception.
It was always intentional. And, unfortunately for the rest of us, they were rather successful.
NOTE: It's worth pointing out that the left, the same ideologically controllable rubes who we then loaded down with tens of thousands in student loans used to pursue degrees in demanding fields such as 'Outdoor Activites' and 'Gender Studies', are the same people who point to their side being more "educated".
