WASHINGTON – Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) today made public 197 subpoenas former Special Counsel Jack Smith and his team issued as part of the indiscriminate election case against President Trump. Smith’s case began at the Biden Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) under the codename “Arctic Frost.”
The subpoenas, which were provided to Grassley through legally protected whistleblower disclosures, were sent to 34 individuals and 163 businesses. These 197 subpoenas requested testimony, communications and records related to at least 430 named Republican individuals and entities. Some of the records Smith subpoenaed from banks, individuals and businesses included:
- Communications with media companies such as CBS, Fox News, Fox Business, Newsmax, Sinclair and others.
 - Communications with “any member, employee or agent of the Legislative Branch of the U.S. Government.”
 - Communications with White House advisors, such as Stephen Miller, Dan Scavino, Jared Kushner, Lara Trump and others.
 - Statistical data and analysis relating to donors and fundraising efforts.
 - Broad financial data relating to conservative individuals and entities.
Grassley unveiled the subpoenas during a press conference alongside Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and members of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Grassley at today’s press conference said, in part:
“Arctic Frost was the vehicle by which partisan FBI agents and DOJ prosecutors could improperly investigate the entire Republican political apparatus. Contrary to what [Jack] Smith has said publicly, this was clearly a fishing expedition.
“If this happened to the Democrats, they’d be as rightly outraged as we are.
“We’re making these records public in the interest of transparency and so that the American people can draw their own conclusions.”
A master list of the organizations and individuals Smith subpoenaed is available HERE, compiled by Senate Judiciary Committee staff.

Jerk on a rope, but pronto!
Who gave boot jack smith subpoena power, anyway?
A-hole needs to be strung up by his balls.
He needs to be sitting in a cell in Guantanamo Bay until he coughs up that answer - with proof.
He needs the electric chair.
Obviously, Soros has to be in there somewhere.
Americans have a problem.
We let leftists Democrats
into positions of power.
My solution would be to round up all
non-elected Democrats in the government
and stick them in a camp in central Alaska.
Then process them on a case
by case basis for release or not.
Smith was Obama’s creation. He for some reason became smitten with Smith and appointed him to the World Court as the US Representative lawyer. He was on layaway there waiting to be summoned up to do his boss’s dirty work, which he dutifully stepped up for.
Put this psycho in prison!
Biden cued Smith to Subpoena Records for Over
400 Republican Targets As Part of “Arctic Frost.”
An outrage.
So show us the authorization Jack, where Merritless Garland gave you the authority to do that as part of the scope of your investigation.
In a just world, Smith should be spending his time being waterboarded at GITMO until he gave up his coconspirators in the takedown attempt on President Trump.
But we dare not break the filibuster to get Trump’s agenda codified. Why are Republicans afraid to use their power
He doesn’t have subpoena power; he had to get a judge to approve all the subpoenas he requested.
The actual spying or gathering of information on all the Republicans was probably legal, Jack Smith went to court and got subpoenas for everything he did.
What should be investigated and is probably illegal is the reason for the investigation to begin with, usually there is some indication of a crime before an investigation can begin and subpoenas can be requested.
The illegality goes higher up the food chain, who authorized the investigation and what was their reasoning, that is what needs to be uncovered, investigated and prosecuted.
