Jim Himes (D-CT), who serves as the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said MAGA voters who cheer the Trump administration’s military strikes on alleged drug boats in the eastern Pacific would not like who a potential President Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez chooses to kill.

On the other hand (setting aside their alarming threats to kill political opponents, to wit, you and me), it is refreshing to hear democrats say what they are really thinking.
Presidents have been killing people - US citizens and foreigners - without Congressional declarations of war for decades. Bush II did it, Obama did it, and I’m sure the next Democrat to take the WH will do it too. Let’s not pretend that Trump is doing something out of the ordinary here.

We look at a situation, judge it, and take action on it. In this case, it is a country sending drugs into our country to serve as a hobbling and destabilizing weapon.
Leftists look at people they wish to sideline, delegitimize, or destroy, conjure up a crime to fit it, and prosecute it before it even happens. In their case, it is people who disagree with them, and when the time comes, they will have the man and will find the crime.
That is a fundamental and significant difference.
I am not in the least bit interested in finding “middle ground” with those people.
Because it does not exist.
Extrajudicial or illegal killing...whichever.

I’m ready to rock and roll. But unfortunately it will not be like we think. They will just shut off all food, water, fuel, electricity, and communications. We will have to submit and turn in our arms in trade for survival sustenance they hand out.
While some of us can hold out for a couple months in this situation, 95% of this country cannot so they will just submit. This is why they have been federalizing and centralizing all the resource and supply kill switches.
They can do this with just a stroke of a key on a keyboard.

The military will split both ways, so no side will have that advantage. If they stay out of the fight the end would be bloody, bitter, but decisive.
