Get a bunch with a BB going 4000fps
I have shot bears with rifles, shotguns and handguns.
Hunting and self-defense is two different things with different out comes desired.
Going from BB to a 45 mag is far different from 357 mag to 45acp.
The large deference between a 45acp and a hot loaded 45 colt .Even more so with the super mags like a 454 or a 460S@W in the terms of power.
Bullet selection and placing rounds on target is far more important in a self-defense situation then caliber.
If one knows when something bad is going to happen. One just avoids going there.

Gives you more energy but that does not always equal tp greeter stopping power.
To many variables when it comes to shooting live target’s to always hold true.
