“”My phone’s an old style Flip Phone; it doesn’t ‘scroll’.””
Same here except mine never leaves my purse except to call the power company when there’s a power outage..kept in my purse if I need help when I’m out in the car.
I’ve had several doctor appointments this year and I say you can tell who the oldest person is in the waiting room. They don’t have a phone in their hands!!
One patient in a waiting room and I made instant friends last year - she was a Braves fan, wearing a shirt with Braves logo, didn’t have a phone in her hands, paid copay with a check. We thought we should get together but she doesn’t drive in the area of the city where I live and I don’t drive where she lives - nothing wrong with the areas, we just don’t stray far from home. She is a veteran, born in Atlanta..I was surprised she isn’t comfortable being away from home. I guess you could call us both “recluses.”
One difference - she doesn’t use email...we talk on the phone.
That’s why I surf the web, to avoid having to talk to people with all their fake laughs.

All I use it for is to make-take calls - nothing else.

Same here, and at 75, it’s usually ME. No magazines since covid, but somehow I survive. Heh...
