His late mother was a Canadian from Toronto I believe.
I never watch sports but a friend of mine was watching this, so I started looking at it. I ended up riveted to it and watched it till the end. This game has made a baseball fan out of me!
Seems wrong to be able to walk Ohtani again and again, though. Apparently he’s so good, they don’t want to let him bat. But isn’t that bad for the fans who love him and want to see him hit?

The games just get so tight and one play can make a difference in the whole series. One thing for sure - no more baseball till April after this week. Then we change the clocks and I get really depressed.

Baseball is my favorite sport. I love it. Thankfully, when my kids were growing up, baseball leagues were still a thing in Canada. As we veered more toward Europe, soccer took over. I hate soccer lol. There are very few baseball leagues for kids any longer. Such a shame.

The funny thing is, I loathe Toronto. I live about 2 hours away, and once worked there a few years back. They’re horrible big city arrogant elitists. So rude, nothing like rural Ontario. But nice, friendly, down-to-earth rural Canada doesn’t have a team in the majors lol!
