That only applies to regular season games.

Bottom of the 11th now….maybe Ohtani will hit another homer and end it.

To: jroehl
Only 5% of World Series games have gone into extra innings.

Both teams have used seven pitchers—bullpens are emptying out.

    An aside.
Dodgers payroll about $350 million.
Blue Jays about $250.
Mariners about $160.
As a Mariners fan I’m rooting for the Blue Jays. (It could/should have been us.) “Give the balls to Springer”.

Yeah, and Ohtani pitches tomorrow night.

Didn’t Geddy throw out the first pitch for Game One?

I only have a passing interest in sports anymore. And the recent gambling bust has soured me even further from it all. It’s all a setup and only the willfully blind won’t admit it.

Ohtani has ‘made’ the sport for me this year for the post season.
Been fun to watch.

I think it was years ago that he threw out the first pitch for a Blue Jays game. He did some sort of speaking promo hyping up the Blue Jays that aired on TV prior to the playoffs. It was pretty nice and captured some of the drama of the playoffs. I wonder if he wrote it or just read what he was given? It did sound like something he would say though.
Someone had a long interview with him and they talked about the game, baseball in general, and the upcoming tour. Geddy said that 3-run homerun to beat the Mariners was perhaps the most memorable play he has ever seen. (Harrumph. I'm still a fan though.)
