South Korea is a strong ally of the US. Hyundai is a huge multi national company investing billions in the US. If the people arrested were,in fact, here illegally....in violation of one or more immigration/residency/employment laws...ICE's first step should have been to contact a senior executive at Hyundai and/or a senior Korean diplomat to try to fix things. If that call failed *then* that executive or diplomat should have been told that steps would be taken to expel them.
Dealing with problems with a huge multinational company like Hyundai is much,*much* different than dealing with an apartment building housing 100 Guatemalan fentanyl dealers.

Some people on this tread can’t seem to differentiate between a multinational corporation investing billions in this country and a bunch of Guatemalan fentanyl dealers.
