Well I do my own shopping and you can’t get out of Wal Mart for less than a $100 have have maybe 4 bags. Example hamburger and I mean 70/30 blend used to be under $10 for 3lbs...today it was $23, I have a sweet tooth and so I buy from WM Deli a single slice of chocolate cake which up to 2 weeks ago cost $1.96 today cost 2.17 and I know the price as I buy it once a week. This is 2 examples as there are many more.
Maybe you need to do a better job looking for value? Look for whats on sale? Change up a brand or two? Maybe Walmart is not the end all be all for chocolate cake? If .80 a lb increase in beef is wrecking your bank account youre doing something wrong. Very savvy of you to choose the two commodities that the media focuses on daily for your 2 examples…. Beef and cocoa? Now do eggs….or milk….. or rent. Cmon man.
