I missed the secret ingredient twice ... please clarify for me.
The article and study referenced do not use "secret." But the notion is that Plant-Based Meat Alternatives are less about physioogical issues, as emotional and mental issues.
"...while this study found no evidence of health risks associated with PBMA consumption, the increased risk of depression is concerning. Elevated CRP levels [ C-reactive protein ] in the PBMA consumer group suggest a potential increase in inflammatory status. Additionally, lower apolipoprotein A levels in this group, which are linked to reduced HDL, also raise some concerns. As always, the need to consider potential long-term effects when incorporating processed foods into our diet is essential and can be investigated in major epidemiological studies such as the UK Biobank. To validate our findings, additional longitudinal and experimental studies, as well as research in diverse populations outside the UK, are necessary."The article is interesting, for some. Probably a bit academic for others. My general take is that I don't care for marketing, messaging, nudging and the like, and especially from the likes of the Gates type folk.Source: Plant-Based Meat Alternatives Intake and Its Association With Health Status Among Vegetarians of the UK Biobank Volunteer Population by Hana F.
