One issue with Texas is that it’s real estate market climbed way too fast. I think it’s a natural market correction.

Almost everywhere it has climbed too fast this time. Even Memphis, where I live has way too high housing prices.

Cities love this because they can adjust the value of your house to make you pay more tax. I know several people renting that their rent just keeps going up and up IN MEMPHIS.

Getting rid of 25 million people will cause a lot less demand for many things!
