Israel and Hamas had a cease fire agreement. Hamas had their two state solution with ocean front on one side. Israel has muslim citizens and members of their government. Gaza has none of that. Hamas attacked and killed defenseless Israel citizens including babies. The Gaza citizens voted overwhelmingly for Hamas leadership. I think they got only 50% of what they deserve.
I should add that Israel supplies electricity, water and food to Gaza, which is a failed state. And how does Gaza show appreciation? Islam is a religion of conquest and Judaism and Christianity are not. I forgot that Christians also live in Israel, but in Gaza they would be killed.
