We let the communist scum infest the Nation in the 1960s, and the infection has multiplied a million-fold since then...
They should have been harshly dealt with then, yet most of them ended up as teachers, lawyers, or politicians, and the infection metastasized into the fatal cancer we face today...
There are absolutely no possible peaceful avenues out of this mess...
Because they were listening to the White Album played backwards.
North korea could never have stopped us without the chinese and the self imposed idiot rules.

And the daily reports to China by UN members detailing US movements, tactics, logistical support, etc.
Awww, remember the (communist) media’s blitz on the 100 odd vietcong victims of My Lai. Aren’t you enlightened?
How about reading up on the Hue massacre of 5500 non-combatants.

Much truth to your comments, where I differ is the war was militarily won which resulted in the Paris Peace Accords that required US combat troops to leave the country.
South Vietnam held its own fairly well until Ted Kennedy led the charge to defund the South. The South literally ran out of gasoline and bullets and had to cave in.
What is a bother today is the hypocrisy of many commenters here on FR. Many here are fiercely opposing the democrat communists trying to take over the country. The hypocrisy lies when they comment about the Vietnam war being wrong is one context or another or a part of the military industrial complex. The war was to fight communists, just like Korea.
Had Patton been allowed to kick the USSR’s rear end, or MacArthur been allowed to kick China’s rear, or had we continued the fight in SEA, RED CHINA WOULD NOT BE ON OUR DOOR STEPS NOW!
But our dearly beloved democrats put a stop to all of it and are now full fledged commies themselves.
The school was located about 15 miles south of Berkeley, which explains how I was treated. It’s also the school that produced Rachel Maddow. She’s spent her entire life in the liberal bubble.
I’ve never been back. I saw no reason to, living 1500 miles east in Texas. Wasn’t going to pay to travel that distance for a 4-6 hour function.
There is no doubt I scored the most valuable scholarship of my 550 student graduating class: paid for 4 years at Gonzaga, followed by 8 years as an officer in the Army, first serving in Germany, with an apartment on the Mosel River. Those experiences set me on a path to a very rewarding life.
For those that never served or never know a person that served - below is some of the cost for having served.
Those who went to war, never came back - they were someone else when they returned.

Isn’t it ironic that the leftists are now the “baby killers”!
500-plus, wasn't it?
My friend John down the road took an ak round in the back. Walks two miles a day and still rides his Harley.
On top of all the indignities list here, the GI Bill which had given so much to vets of other wars was slashed to the point of “why bother,” to ridiculousness. This act of Congress was the final insult to those who gave so much, and lost even more; no one talks about this, its just forgotten.
It was at the time unthinkable that the Communists had so thoroughly infiltrated the US Government, the Press, the universities, and of course the SDS, etc., etc.
The average nose-picking adolescent was raised on the Communist garbage from every angle, and of course grew up into one of the worthless geezers you see protesting at anti-ICE, or pro-Palestine rallies now.
It is disgusting but people are now waking up, mostly because the Rat/Commies are SO crazy and self destructive that they look more like florid schizoprenics with every passing day. It is also because of the young, guided by heroes like Kirk.
These young don't want to be gypped out of their American legacy, and they won't be.
It didn’t help that many (most?) came back to The World through hippie-infested San Fransicko.
And IF you have information to disseminate, how about NOT doing it in the manner of an 8th-grade girl? Anger manage3ment counseling would do you a world of good.
Now goodbye. I will not respond to any more of your hostility.
I entered the USAF at the tail end of the Vietnam war.
I was in Dress blues uniform flying home for Christmas.
Airlines required dress uniforms for a GI priced ticket.
In Dallas the lines were extremely long to get boarding passes if you could get one, for this interconnecting flight
without being bumped to a later flight, I was way, way back
in line.
An airline employee approached me and said to follow him.
He took me to another part of the booking counter and issued me a boarding pass.
I got home on time.
I was only “disrespected” once while in uniform and that person backed down pretty fast.
It was a war entered into by Democrats for political
reasons and it was purposely lost by Democrats for
political reasons.
Full disclosure; I repaired Avionics on B-52s
the ultimate “Baby killer”,
and other aircraft so I would never have gone
into a conventional war zone.
Hanoi Jane is still alive. Though I think her grave is going to smell of urine in the future.
The same ones that spit on them are the ones showing up for the no kings protest
Some people on FR seem to think that Big Media being a bunch of Hate America communists is a new phenomenon. It is not. They were lying stinking communist scumbag rat bastards in the 1960s and even earlier. If Adolph Hitler had been a communist, Big Media would have loved him. Just ask Walter Duranty ...
I say that tongue in cheek: our First Sergeant came to us from the Infantry, where he served 3 tours in Vietnam. I was acting XO, and he comes to me and says, “LT, what am I supposed to do? I don’t know anything about this ADA bull$hit!”
”Top, all you need to do is run the CP, I’ll handle the ADA bull$hit,” I laughed as I said that.”
My uncle was spat on and plastic bags full of human feces were thrown when he returned after 3 tours. Even in the 1970s, the left was all about isolating the powerless as representative of those they disagreed with.
