I went looking for an article I’d read about why Ellen DE generous no longer identified as a lesbian. It’s as if it has been scrubbed from the Internet. The reason was because trans had trumped lesbianism. A trans must be accepted as a woman and if a trans approached a lesbian for sex, then she was supposed to accept. (Aside from the fact that many people regardless of predilection often turn down requests for sex. That’s not supposed to happen with “trans” women because they’re special.) The very fact that there were lesbians cancelled out the fact that there were men who were claiming to be women. The two were not compatible in the LGB world so the old hat plain Jane lesbian had to go. There used to be a lot of articles on the subject. Can’t find a one now.
I also once asked him why gay men seemed to get along so well with women, while so many lesbians seemed to hate men. He said he didn't know but that it was a very real thing. He said he'd actually tried to talk to lesbians about it but they just got emotional and angry, lol.
