Isn’t that strange? My wife and I just started watching Breaking Away the other day. Stern’s first movie. A great movie, I remember seeing it at the theater when it first came out.

I had not seen Dennis Quade in a movie before, I remember not liking his character. Quade, Stern, and Jackie Earl Haley have had great careers in film. Dennis Christopher, the central character, however, retired from acting.

I hope Stern is ok, he’s had many great roles.
