Meh. No one is more willing to denounce a Romney more than I am, but the article doesn’t even take a swing at explaini CA family law. He was probably structured with his seperate property segregated so there were little assets accrued during marriage. Seperate property generates seperate property income and it’s pretty easy to keep it seperate if that is your goal. The non spousal support was just a gambit.
