You know how I saved money? I made an appointment at Social Security and one of their agents helped me navigate the labrynth of rules and paperwork. No fancy dinners, No hidden fees, no commissions.
“You know how I saved money? I made an appointment at Social Security”
When we were turning 65, we contacted AMAC and they referred us to an agent — not an AMAC employee. We were happy with the advice we got, and he was always there for us when we had questions years later.
At the same time we attended a workshop put on by the county Senior Services. They didn’t mention Supplemental plans, and skirted around the issuen when asked point blank.
Finally, I asked, “If you had millions of dollars, and were forced to choose, what would be the best?”. She said it would be Supplemental over Advantage.
We’ve had Supplemental, but the cost is going sky high. It’s been wonderful as to service and coverage. We had it under AFLAC for a few years, but they quit writing in our area. Now with Mutual Of Omaha.
