They’re hired a) for the DEI/AA points and b) access to foreign markets through ethnic connections.
As soon as they get in, they will immediately increase Indian hiring exponentially, because in the end, that’s the goal: get as many of them into a company as possible and then ruthlessly exclude all others: look at Microsoft and Intel for example.
