Now we have the annual Red River ShootoutRivalry. All the talk this week has been whether super transfer Sooner QB John Mateer will play. He is listed as probable but who knows if this is Brent Venables trying to play mind games. The Sooners have failed to establish a consistent running game. On the other side, Venables and his top-notch defensive line are chomping at the bit facing a horrible Texas OL. The Florida Gators latched their jaws on the Texas OL and did the spin of death the entire game thrashing Arch Manning. the Vegas line has been all over the place with Texas opening as a 11-point favorite. At this time, the line is now Oklahoma a one-point favorite.

At 7 pm, is an interesting game as Florida pays a visit to College Station. DJ Lagway is coming off his best game of the year against Texas. The Aggies are undefeated.

At 7:30, Michigan kickoffs at USC. USC is coming off allowing over 500 yards of offense against Illinois. Looks like USC is as it always is under Riley, impressive at the skill positions especially at WR but horrible at playing tough defense. USC is a three-point home favorite

Another prime time game the oldest rivalry in the South, as Georgia visits Auburn. Auburn QB Jackson Arnold has been spending a lot of time flat on the grass as he has the horrible trait of holding on the ball too long. The days of fearsome Georgia defense has long gone. Georgia is a 4.5 point road favorite.

In a do or die game, South Carolina visits Death Valley. A lot of talk about what is wrong with LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier. LSU has failed to establish a running game. LSU is a 9 point home favorite

Texas should be a touchdown plus dog in that game.

My team is Clemson and it’s been a “building season” so far.

Florida has been up and down. That should be a fun game.
