Yellow taxis and black cabs, big apple v big smoke, Trump Tower or the BT Tower? London and New York share a rivalry that goes back hundreds of years.
The latest blow came courtesy of President Trump, who labelled Sir Sadiq Khan a “terrible” mayor and said the capital had considerably changed under his tenure.
It is not the first time the US president has locked horns with Khan, who has been elected twice by Londoners. But are there any grounds to Trump’s claim — and is life in London better or worse than in Trump’s hometown, New York?
How does cost of living compare?
Where possible, we have compared Greater London, home to about 9 million people, with the five boroughs that make up New York City, which has a population of about 8.5 million, across a range of metrics.

Really? That’s Interesting.
I lived in Fulham for a year.
The thing with London is, go for a week, you’re like, “I’m moving here”. Stay for a year, you kiss the ground when you get off the plane in the USA.
Soon they’ll be twins.
All of us here would be.
Don’twant to live or visit either of them. I had to drive around my downtown yesterday and hated every second of it.
Current London or NY ? NO WAY tp both . 1970’s London vs. NY - London hands down . I especially loved North London .
This will be how Islam takes over the West..
