Yes. Lyle Mays!
Certain all here will appreciate these performances of
Pat Metheny and Ralph Towner who are both quite accomplished acoustic players. Pat Metheny is exceptional!
Spain (Chick Corea): Pat and Ralph acoustics. Marvelous.

That was Matthew McAllister and Matthew Cochran on those duet tunes.... the composers being Pat Metheny and Ralph Towner. Long week, sorry.
Remembering that Lyle Mays and Pat and Jaco played behind Joni Mitchell eons ago— with J. Brecker on sax.
I could put a couple hundred in front of her dude. Not sorry.
Thanks for the reminder of a favorite group.
Will be Spotify’ing them tonight.
Hey, some instruments we don’t meld with.
When I was a mus/ed student....I HATED the bassoon.
I actually got a pretty good sound on bassoon, but the dog always did the tilty-head thing whenever I played it.
Matheny before or after the whale music?
If you can’t spell his name, I don’t know what you’re asking.
Sorry Metheny
