With my ex-wife it was her cheating that did her in. She open-mouthed kissed on a man in front of one of her friends (a lady at church). Then my ex openly bragged about it to my mother that she had a relationship with him. Yet I forgave her and she couldn't accept forgiveness. Her self-condemnation made her withdraw from church and even God altogether. To be honest, one of the reasons I forgave her is I knew that men have zero chance of winning custody battles .... or so I thought. I forgot the God factor.
My ex filed for divorce and went scorched earth, trying to destroy my relationship with my kids, my relationships at church, and my finances. After she had custody for 3 years I won (I owe the Lord!).
I later married a gorgeous thing who loves the Lord and we helped each other finish raising our kids while not just attending, but volunteering in church. My finances restored better than before, with more kids who love me like a father. (Think modern day Job.) I owe the Lord!
I owe the Lord!

Amen brother! Believers must know the good Lord will restore what Satan has stolen from us. Stay strong, give Thanks daily.
You really ought to be more carful.
There is an element in women where they can decide they don’t want to be a wife and mom and thereby follow their own calling. It’s usually around their late 30’s when the hormones demand more sex and doing it with the husband becomes boring. There is more excitement in the world outside and they just gotta take it on with all the risks. Having one’s own money helps-or doesn’t.
Good looking women are more high maintainance. Some guys are happy to hold on pastl the first sign of it not working out.
