Thx, not a bad rendition, although Geddy Lee was obviously having a hard time with the register in that early song, a high range of a much younger man. 😁 The shots of the audience showed many more women than classic Rush shows, which were probably 1:25 at best, a real sausagefest, as a lot of prog bands have.
And of course, the “best intro ever” vid from the classic lineup, which starts out with a mostly intstrumental opening of “Finding My Way” as part of a medley.

Came a hair late for my Brit invasion thru Zep Floyd southern rock formative years
But they grew on me
Great musicianship
And interesting lyrics especially early on
I'm not a huge fan of Rush, but have known some prog fans who put them at or near the top of the entire genre.
It may sound stupid, but I've always admired Rush's work ethic. In a decades-ago interview, Geddy Lee was asked about their grueling touring at the time, right after they broke big with Moving Pictures. By that time they'd already had a string of successful albums, but MP got much more airplay, everywhere. They were doing over 200 shows a year or something, and GL said, it's the only way to really learn our craft.
Somewhere around here I have a copy of Feedback, their covers of songs from their (and my) youth. I prefer their version of The Who's "Seeker".
I like Rush a great deal.
Nine Inch Nails is more of my favorite.
But yeah, Rush is tremendous.

In this interview, I sit down with Rush's new touring drummer Anika Nilles. We discuss the world tour, how she got started, and the pressure of filling in for one of rock's most iconic drummers: Neil Peart.Anika Nilles: Getting To Know Rush's New Drummer | 20:05
