I’m generally not in the Israel-can-do-no-wrong camp, but I’m in their “amen corner” on this one. Miss Greta has zero business sticking her button nose into the Gaza situation. Nada. Zilch. This is FAFO 101.

“I’m generally not in the Israel-can-do-no-wrong camp, “

I find this extremely hard to believe. The Israelis are sensitive to world opinion. Mistreating prisoners, especially those who have the world’s attention and a global amplifier would be poorly considered on their part. As a landlord I can tell you that a bedbug infestation is not something you’d mess around with. If they had them, they’d fumigate the place as once you have them, they spread like wildfire. They carry disease and disease does not discriminate between annoying scold toads and guards. If they had bedbugs the guards would likely be taking them home with them. When I dealt with an infected property, I was constantly changing clothes and putting them in plastic bags.

As for starving or dehydrating the prisoners...won’t happen. Imagine how it would look on the world stage if the Scold Toad or her companions could post Dachau-like photos of themselves. See below for what happened to the prisoners at Guantanamo...

“The Guantanamo Bay detention camp has been a subject of controversy regarding the weight gain of its inmates. Reports indicate that detainees have gained an average of 20 pounds (9 kilograms) during their stay, with some individuals gaining up to 410 pounds (186 kilograms). This weight gain is attributed to a high-calorie diet provided to detainees, which is significantly above the recommended daily intake for weight maintenance. The camp’s dietary guidelines suggest a daily intake of 2,000 to 3,000 calories, while federal inmates in the United States receive about 2,900 calories a day. Human rights groups have raised concerns about the lack of mobility in the detainees’ small cells and the restrictions on exercise, which have contributed to the weight gain. Despite these concerns, the weight gain at Guantanamo is well above the norm for federal inmates...”

Agreed.

Israel should invoice her for the cost of holding her in the prison—and then if she does not pay send out some nasty collection agents to extract the funds.
