FYI....AmericanInTokyo has been anti-FR ever since President Trump entered the scene 10 years ago. Why that thing is still here is a good question?
Update: Judge Karin Immergut issued a new order just now blocking ALL National Guard from anywhere in the country from protecting federal property in Oregon. She said there is no justification for them being there.
Around 100 California National Guard members had already landed… https://t.co/yy6vkl7IBc— Andy Ngo (@MrAndyNgo) October 6, 2025
Sure. We've learned about the problems associated with Bush and especially Cheney. We've grown as a forum to realize that the middle of the Republican party has far too much in common with the Democrat party, even as the Dems went further insane.
I far prefer who we are today. We are no longer fooled by globalists and the like. And, for all his foibles... and there are many.... Trump has the best instincts.

A: Because my views align on a lot of other issues with FReepers… And I modestly contribute to the FReepathons from time to time… Any other questions or are there other matters of which you want to censor or silence my free speech or filter out other perspectives from your own—or exhibit other cult like behavior?
This would be described as “nativism”
and “populism” rather than “conservatism”… I’m sure you would agree that this site has less and less now to do with Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan… Correct?
I don't even know what "nativism" is. I'd probably say we at FR are (ideally) nationalist populist, AND conservative.
I’m sure you would agree that this site has less and less now to do with Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan… Correct?
No I would not. I would, however, note that Goldwater and Reagan came from different eras with different primary priorities. As a single example: In both cases, there was a shared animosity to the Soviet Union in particular and communism in general.
But over time, the landscape changed. Now it is much more of a Globalism vs. Nationalism struggle, and both Bush W. and Cheney fall into the Globalist camp. Here at Free Republic we tend to remain nationalist. We want defined and enforced borders. We want our own laws and priorities, not those of other nations. We want our own identity, our traditional religions (such as Christianity and Judaism). We want our country to be fiscally sound and have national prosperity, and damn the countries that do not share that goal.
You denigrate Trump at every turn, but he is the only current national leader who expounds the views that the majority of this forum embraces. If you are TDS, then you are the outlier.
Ping to the above
The left has started an asymmetric civil war and your only retort is to attack the man who is fighting these evil people. You have only made it clear that you are worthless traitorous scum. Please continue to stay out of the USA. Tokyo can keep you!
