Good morning. It's funnier than that. He's addressed me a couple of times as "Hadji." Of course, in Islam that's someone who has made the silly Hadj. But for some East European Christians, it is the same term used for those who have visited the "holy sepulcher" at Jerusalem. I've been blessed to stand in that place, candles burning and all, several times in different trips. So if "minimus" were to be corrected, perhaps I am a one-quarter Hadji. Not East European, and not a Muzzie. But what a lovely bunch of memories some to mind from standing in the holy places of Jerusalem.
It is amusing that his reputation, built ass-iduouly over these last years, has garnered him such respect ( /sarc ) for cogent analysis, competent debate and respectful dialogue.
