Because the same argument that is being waged against Indians as a nationality could equally be applied to Jews. Jews have contributed so much to our country, yet it is hardly to be expected that one could dismiss Jewish immigrants and confine them to Israel without considerable backlash.

Similarly, the list provided above demonstrates a small part of the great contributions made to this country by Indians. We can no more determine H1B policy on ethnicity for Indians than we can for Jews.

Rather than sounding off like a gang of racists, let us consider how to retain the contribution of very valuable Indians while preserving American jobs.
