Mann act is some jim crow era BS. I think combs is a garbage human being, but everyone involved in this was there of their own free will and the hookers got paid. What was the real crime?
I understand your point. But on the other hand, US states are supposed to sovereign (to a certain extent). They are not mere provinces of a central empire.
So crossing a state line should mean something.

We also see this in other matters. In one state it’s perfectly fine to have a bag of marijuana in your car. In the next state over it’s not. I’m okay with that. You gotta watch those borders.
