Ideally demand for product should be curtailed like cigarettes have been. The sale of the drugs make the drug lords (Narcos) so rich and powerful they kill off any hope for a productive citizenry so that they use everyone to make them rich or else…they destroy entire countries with bribery like Venesuela and Mexico.

I quit a 2 pack per day habit because Reagan raised the tax on cigarettes.
If I can “cold turkey” quit such a habit,
don’t expect me to “help” another addict.
