Grand Marais
Couldnt get back into Munising Bay because the east channel was so bad.
Had to swing around and run up to Grand Marais.
Never had time to do anything but hang on and look for the best water to run on.
Friggan 24 footer stood dam near on end a couple times.
Ought to have seen it getting into the harbor at Grand Marais.
That was bad but the worst was when we had to jump the ice break ice fishing.
All of a sudden it dawned on us in the ice shanty. The GD lines started going way under the ice. Looked out of the shanty and the ice we were on broke free and we were heading out on it. We both jumped what we guessed was at least 12 to 16 feet to get on the other side.
That shanty made it all the way to Canada and he had to drive around to get it, pay the fine and fees and pick it up.
