I prefer to use the term negro, much to the angst of some here.
That was the polite description when I grew up, as opposed to the more insulting terms of the time.

You seem to be oblivious of many using alternate terms as a clear jab at the liberal media that gives itself spasms avoiding identifying the perpetrators’ description of the daily cultural “actin’ out” being reported.
It used to be pc to say “African American”-but that always seemed stupid to me because they are not from Africa-and not all people in Africa are black. Now Black seems more acceptable-Spanish is my 2nd language-and “negro” just means black/the color black, that actually sounds better, I guess. A Black person/una persona negra/negro works in either language-I just wish they would pick a word and stick with it-we Caucasians don’t change our descriptive race words all the time-neither do Asians...
