On Uber eats, in the “bad” areas no one wants to drive to, or pick up people, the company puts bonuses on the map. So if you look on your map, they will literally have a little circle around a certain town with up to about a $12 bonus per trip. That motivates people to go there and service that area. Otherwise Uber would have to deal with the negative social media. They’d sooner throw money at the problem than seem biased
