Saw a video the other day explaining how hackers can get into the computer of your car through the tire pressure monitors.
Unincripted network, drive by wire, collision avoidance system...I’ll never own a vehicle with these “features”.

I 100% believe that. One of my cars is very low-tech, being 25 years old now. The other is a 2020 and is as low-tech as I could buy then. I can turn some of the tech features off, but I’m reasonably sure that “they” could turn them back on and use them against me if I become too troublesome. Then there are the hackers who might kill just for fun. They all make me want to ride my bike everywhere.

I drive a 2010 Toyota Corolla, completely low tech. I need a bigger vehicle to transport the two grandsons because their huge car seats don’t fit in the back seat. I don’t want one of these new SUV’s with all the “bells and whistles” but you can’t buy a newer one without it all.
